Brybelly – Graphic Design Summer Internship
The Opportunity:
Brybelly is currently looking for a Graphic Design Intern to support our rapidly-expanding Design Team. In the last 12 months we developed and branded nearly 400 new products, and your role is to help us present each new product we develop as the best it can be. You will help design, prototype, and guide the creative direction of new products. You will create memorable, professional packaging that will stand out on a store shelf. You will take compelling, clear product photos and edit them to the exacting standards required by major retailers. Finally, you will prepare the finished products for sale across several ecommerce venues and to brick and mortar stores throughout the country.
Challenges You Will Tackle:
Product Design – You will assist in creating new products from the ground-up. You will research the aesthetics and features of competing products, determine how they succeed, then execute prototyping and design, communicating directly with our manufacturers.
Brand Identity – As we enter new product niches we develop microbrands to differentiate ourselves. You will design logos and other strong, thoughtful brand imagery and marketing materials such as style guides, social media profiles, and sell sheets.
Packaging Design – Great package design is vital to our success in crowded marketplaces, and is an important way to stand out from competitors. You will research and leverage packaging best practices to design memorable, professional product packaging.
Product Photography – Eye-catching images are the cornerstone of ecommerce, and delivering great product photos is one of the most important aspects of this role. You will take compelling product photos and edit them to a mirror sheen to meet the exacting standards required by major retailers.
Product Listings – Once a product is ready to sell, you will gather, organize, and upload all required data to our wholesale website and target ecommerce venues.
Custom Design – You will assist our customers in personalizing key products.
This is an summer internship and our compensation is $10/hour. There are ample opportunities to gain valuable experience and professional growth in the field of graphic design.
