On behalf of my fellow graduate students at Miami University’s Department of Architecture and Interior Design Graduate Studies, I would like to extend an invitation for graduate students in the Department of Art to submit an abstract for consideration to join us at our annual academic symposium on September 28-29th, 2017.
The symposium will focus on the idea of “Impact” and the role it plays in our communities. We will consider how architectural ideas and processes influence the way in which we actively create and shape societies for the future. Art and architecture are both informed by creative processes, which are based in theory and practice. We would welcome the opportunity for you to share those ideas with us at our event.
This two-and-a-half-day event will offer a chance for Master’s candidates of diverse backgrounds to convene for a formal discussion and to share ideas among peers in an academic setting. Please kindly share with your graduate students. Attached is the announcement and due dates. Please forward all abstracts to one of the following contacts:
Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to having you participate with us in the Fall.
