Event Date: Nov 20, 2015
Posted: August 11, 2016

My name is Katelyn Zam and I am the Secretary of the AIGA Student Group at the University of Cincinnati.

This Friday, November 20th at 6pm, Michael Beirut will be visiting the college of DAAP for a lecture. Michael Bierut studied graphic design at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. He spent ten years working for Massimo Vignelli and is currently a partner at Pentagram in New York City. He is the co-founder of the website Design Observer and an AIGA Medalist. His clients include Saks Fifth Avenue, Mohawk Paper Mils, the Walt Disney Company, The New York Times, and The Yale School of Architecture. His new book, “How to”, was released this year.

Michael Bierut’s new book “How To” will be for sale at the event. Books will be sold from 5:30–7:30, and the first 50 people will get a pre-signed copy by Michael.

We wanted to extend the invite to your Student Groups and were hoping you could spread the word! The event is free to all in attendance.
