2017 GDUSA Student Design Awards
Graphic Design USA is announcing its inaugural GDUSA Student Design Awards™. We invite you to pass this information along to your students OR to encourage your school to enter the competition on their behalf.
A dedicated contest for students may be new for us, but GDUSA has been organizing prestigious and welcoming design competitions for 54 years. In those five decades, the goal of these annual competitions — which now include Graphic Design, Package Design, Inhouse Design, Web Design and Health+Wellness Design — is to recognize effective graphic design, call attention to talented designers, and honor the value that graphic design brings to commerce and culture.
In 2017, with students and educators having more influence than ever on the changing shape of design, media and culture, we believe the time is right for a GDUSA Student Design Awards that celebrates the promise of student designers and the power of design education.
All winners will receive an Award of Excellence Certificate suitable for framing, will have their winning piece automatically displayed on our popular website for a year, will have their name and school and (if you wish) instructor’s name published in our print and digital magazines, and will receive a free two-year subscription to GDUSA magazine and enewsletters.
