Art for Oxford Free Health Clinic
My name is Allie Still and I am a current student at Miami I am also on the Board of Oxford’s Free Health Clinic for the underserved and uninsured people of Butler and surrounding counties.The Clinic is celebrating their tenth anniversary and holding their big fundraising event next fall. The event is going to be a silent and live auction of art pieces from local artists, Miami students, elementary, middle, and high school students in the surrounding area. The Board wants to have as much involvement from Miami Student’s as possible.
We are looking for artists who can donate their time and art for the event. The event isn’t until next fall, but we would like to get in contact with as many people and student organizations as possible before the end of the semester.
Dr. Casper gave me your contact information. I am looking for students who would be interested in donating a work of art to the auction to benefit the Oxford clinic. I am not sure if students have old art that they have made for projects and would be willing to donate, or if they would be interested in making art specifically for the event, either way we would be extremely grateful for any art donated from the Miami Students. Let me know if you think getting Miami art student involvement would be possible!
