The UX/UI Intern actively contributes to meaningful projects within the product organization. While working to drive the strategy and vision of the product and its features, the IT Intern works very closely with the Business, development teams, QA engineers, business analysts, clinical stakeholders, and user experience design leads to create the product vision, roadmap, and ensure the final deliverable meets stakeholder needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct research and competitive analysis

Help moderate or set up unmoderated usability testing

Design components and mocks for screens

Visit our clinics to understand what our people do and how they use our tools, interview patients, help breaking designs into stories (tasks for developers)

Setting up prototypes with interactions in Figma

Actively participate in product team meetings and business meetings

Lend support to Product Management, Project Management and User Experience.

Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff; build enduring partnerships.

Attends company functions and networking events.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

The IT Internship program will begin mid October 2022 and conclude in March 2023

Interns will work a minimum 12 hours per week gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Interns will be required to work onsite in our Miami Gardens Corporate HQ.

Interns will have a program Mentor for professional and career development.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

Enrollment in an accredited 4-year university/college with a 2023 graduation date preferred

3.0 GPA preferred

Must be at least 17 years of age

This is a continuous appointment, initially lasting up to 6 months with the potential to go beyond that
