My name is Bradley Harris and I’m a representative of MAKETANK Miami! Sculpture professor Rod Northcutt co-created MAKETANK Inc. and MAKETANK’S mission is to: “help people of all ages find confidence in their creativity, to facilitate skill-sharing, to build community through innovative programming, and enhance understanding of science, technology, engineering, art and math.”

Essentially, it is a permission vehicle that allows people to bring out their inner creativity and be confident in it! After getting involved with MAKETANK Inc. and Oxford Kinetics Fest, some friends and I decided to work alongside Rod to create a club on campus to promote the same idea and thus: MAKETANK MIAMI WAS BORN!

This Friday, Feb. 5th at 6:00 PM in the “Great Room” (rm. 212) of MacMillan Hall, MAKETANK Miami is having its first kick-off event. Come see what we’re all about and join the MAKETANK family. Free food, activities, programming brainstorm session, and more! Bring your friends (especially the non-art major ones) and be confident in your creativity.
