Capstone Pictures Course
MAC 414B Capstone Pictures Monday and Wednesday 10-11:50am 123 Williams Hall
Media and Culture is offering a capstone course (does not need to be taken as capstone)– COM 414B Capstone Pictures Spring semester in which we form a film company and produce a professional short narrative film. The projects produced in this class in the past have won three student production Awards from NATAS (the people who do the Emmys) and the Rochester International Film Festival. We will have professionals from the film industry assisting in instruction and equipment from Midwest Grip and Lighting. This class has always been interdisciplinary with students from graphic design, english, finance, communication, film studies, history, theater, etc.
You must fill out an application to get into the class. Read the attached description and turn in the attached application (no later than Oct 22) in 120 Williams Hall. Then, sign up for an interview(interview sheets will be in room 120 around Oct 1). If you have any questions, email Dr. Sholle at Sholled@MiamiOH.edu.
Also, if any of you have a script that would be good for a short narrative film (12 pages or less) send them to me. Thanks
David Sholle
