Happy Captive Magazine is Seeking Undergraduate Art Submissions

Posted: November 13, 2020

Do you love writing, painting, sculpting, taking photographs, or any other form of art? We are looking for submissions of all mediums. Whatever you are creating, we want to see it.

Send us the prose you wrote in class, the digital or visual artwork you’ve been working on all semester, or the collection of pieces that, together, tell a story. We want to help you get published and celebrate what Miami students are doing on campus. But, first, you have to submit!

Just email hcmsubmissions@gmail.com with:
1. Your first and last name
2. Your major and year in school
3. The category your work is being submitted under (i.e. short fiction, photography, poetry, etc.)
4. The title of your piece
5. Your submission!

Attach individual works as separate documents and make sure your name does not appear anywhere in your submission, only in the body of the email. Further guidelines regarding other requirements and restrictions, as well as optional questions you as the creator can answer to speak more on your work, can be found on our website at http://www.happycaptivemagazine.com.

Please read all of the guidelines before submitting. Failure to follow them may result in your work being declined. While on our website, you can also check out our past volumes to see what has previously been accepted.

This campus is full of talented individuals, and we believe that your work should be shared with others! Submit to our magazine and your work could be featured in our next issue.
